Natalie Paki Paki

Natalie Paki Paki (Taranaki Iwi, Ngāti Moeahu) has a background in demography, Māori health equity and Māori health research and monitoring. Natalie worked in Māori health research and monitoring in the Māori Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health for 15 years prior to undertaking a Health Research Council career development fellowship at the University of Otago in 2019  - focussing on racism as a determinant of Māori health and inequities. Natalie is currently undertaking a part time PhD at the University of Auckland whilst continuing to work across projects primarily focussed on Māori health and inequities.
